1. What was the biggest challenge in this assignment and how did you overcome it?

The biggest challenge I faced during this project was finding a spot where I could set up my camera without it moving. In order to use the HDR option on photoshop, your photos have to look exactly the same, just with different exposures. I did not have a tripod at home which made this very difficult; Instead, I had to find flat surfaces to set my camera down on, and I had to make sure that I didn't move it, even the slightest bit, when changing the shutter speed.

2. What kinds of images turned out the best and why?

My sunset images turned out the best because they had lots of color, and they also had different levels of lighting, which the HDR option on photoshop really brought out.  I also think my boat pictures turned out really well because using all the different exposures really allowed the image to capture the boats' reflections in the water with lots of detail.

3. How can this assignment be improved in the future?

In order to improve this assignment in the future, my only suggestion would be to maybe have a certain number of required photos for different times of the day. For example, you could have 3 required photos that were taken in the morning (sunrise to 9am), 3 photos that were taken in the afternoon (12-4pm), and 3 photos taken in the evening (sunset to 8ish-depending on when it gets dark-). This way there will be more variety in images, and different kinds of lighting.
